Send your graduation invitation as a link

The biggest difference from a wedding invitation is that where you graduated from is as much a part of the invitation as who you are. The school and the department have their own field and print right after the name.

The school and the department are their own field

A name alone is not enough on a graduation invitation; which school and which department is the invitation itself. So they sit in their own field and print on their own line, straight after the name.

Leave them empty and the line does not appear — no stray rule is left behind.

Two designs, two tones

Defne speaks the classic academic language: dark olive green, gold, two laurel branches with a cap between them. Mürekkep is entirely typographic — off-white paper, a single ink blue, the graduation year outlined behind the name. No ornament; the type is the ornament.

The year is not a separate field: it is read from the event date, so there is no second place for it to drift out of sync.

The ceremony order and the cap toss

Ceremony day is vague for most guests: when does it start, when are the diplomas handed out, where do we meet for photos. The programme field takes that order line by line, and four steps come filled in by default — welcome, ceremony and diplomas, cap toss, photos and refreshments.

If your programme is different you can change the lines or delete them.

Frequently asked

Do I need to write the graduation year separately?

No. In the Mürekkep design the year is read automatically from the event date you entered.

Can I use one invitation for the ceremony and the party?

Each event gets its own invitation. If the ceremony and the celebration are at different places and times, two invitations read more clearly.

Is a photo required?

No. In Defne the cap motif stays in the middle of the wreath without one; in Mürekkep the photo band is simply not printed.
